Rick Higginson
Rick Higginson has always had an overactive imagination, so it was only natural he would gravitate towards writing as a creative outlet. Advised by a professional writer about the difficulties of making a living at it, he chose instead a career in electronics. He wrote his first novel-length manuscript, The Eridanus Dream, in 1987 on an ancient manual typewriter. He didn't write another novel until Cardan's Pod in 2004, but now has nine completed manuscripts.
Rick has been happily married to Nancy since 1980, and together they raised two terrific kids. They currently live in Tucson, Arizona, with five dogs, two cats, a bird, and countless geckos that hang out in the summer around their porch lights. Rick and Nancy are currently between congregations, but most recently belonged to a Messianic Congregation, where they developed a deep love and appreciation for the Jewish foundations of the Christian faith.
